Policies & Procedures
Appointments
In order for us to live up to our commitment and promise to all of our Best Buddies, we ask for your help:
- Please schedule your appointment with us by email request at info@bestbuddiesgroomingco.com, by text at (904) 576-1179 or with the Appointment Request Form at the bottom of this website.
- Please understand that we are unable to allow walk-ins as this would compromise our distraction free zone. However, same day appointments may be available upon request. If interested, call or message us.
- Please know we are happy to offer early morning and evening appointments.
- Please make sure your Best Buddy has had a chance to go potty before coming in for their grooming appointment. Your Best Buddy's comfort is of utmost importance to us.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your 1st appointment with us so we can have a short "meet & greet " to get to know you and your Best Buddy.
- Please keep your Best Buddy on a leash even if you are carrying her/him.
- Please be sure your Best Buddy is up to date on vaccinations. This protects all of our Best Buddies.
- Please let us know of all health or behavioral concerns that your Best Buddy has.
- Please give us 24 hours if you are unable to keep your appointment.
- Please pick up your Best Buddy as soon as they are ready. We will text you as soon as your Best Buddy is set to go.
- Please understand that ONLY our staff is allowed in our workspace. This is for the safety of all of the Best Buddies in our care.
Important Notes
Our first priority at our pet grooming salon is the safety and comfort of your Best Buddy. We will attempt to brush out moderately matted pets during our dog grooming services, but it is not always possible. In cases such as this, the best option may be to shave or shorten your Best Buddy's coat. Please keep in mind that fur will grow back, and we can discuss a maintenance program for you and your Best Buddy.
If your Best Buddy has fleas, this will be treated automatically, and you will be charged accordingly. We highly recommend that you treat your home, yard, and vehicles while your Best Buddy is being treated at our grooming facility.
If your veterinarian has prescribed a medicated or special shampoo for your Best Buddy, we will be happy to use it; just bring it in with you.
